Obama and others who have no mind at all for business have questioned why the Big 3 focused, for the past 15 years or so, on the manufacturing of SUV's.
Any half-wit who's studied economics for one day will tell you that they built SUV's because people were demanding and buying SUV's.
The kind of crap that Obama wants us to buy needs tax incentives to encourage people to buy them.
Well, if it's so great to buy electric cars and that kind of shizzle, then why do you have to offer an incentive?
Why do people need incentives to buy electric cars? For the same reason that some kids are bribed by their parents to get good grades. The government assumes that the masses are child-like morons who don't know what's best for them. In some ways, it's hard to argue with that logic. Case in point: the 10+year-old fad of guys wearing their pants belted barely above the knees. On the other hand, the aforementioned trend is not practiced by more reasonable young men, so it should be believed that most people make reasonable decisions most of the time. My conclusion: thugs should not buy SUVs (sorry Cadillac)
