Health Care Costs

This seems to be a fairly common sentiment among those who think that the government must step in and reform the health care industry:
"Well if we don't do something about it, then pretty soon no one will be able to afford to even go see a doctor."
So you really think that bringing the government in will reign in costs?

Really?

Can the government do anything inexpensively?

The government is only good at making things worse, and the irony is that it sets a heavy price tag for its "services."

You want to improve health care? Get the government out of it where it already is entrenched. Don't open the flood gates to regulation and bureaucracy.

  1. That is such a common reaction to a different point of view, Anonymous. A defensive reaction intended to dismiss the points Aristos is making. He informs others on a regular basis (not just on this blog), and challenges them to think critically of this government that is supposed to be "of the people, for the people, by the people". His whole point is, even when those in government think they are doing something good, it is usually something that ends up harming our economy or freedoms. He doesn't have to run for political office, or march around D.C. with a sign to be doing "something". And if this is you, Aristos, just trying to bait someone like me into replying, you suck.
